I don't know if this has something to do with it, but since I changed build.prop entries to SM-G935F (Galaxy S7 Edge) and Android 6.0.1, my weather widget is not dissappearing since over 12 hours. I'm on Albe95 ASTRA N5 v2 
Here it is, it costs a bit over 1$ don't know exactly, because we have "Euro (€)" here and it's a bit different. Use Galaxy Icon Themer to apply it.

I will try it later and post if it's working or not.
Edit: It seems after a reboot the widget dissappears still, but while it's booted up it seems to be not dissapearing more

I just changed my build number to the s7 one and also changed version to 6.0.1 but it still removes the widget, It goes all weird then turns solid black The widget works fine and doesnt disappear if you dont have the weather selected

How to clean install a tw home?? There is no flashable zip provided yet. All i can do to push to sys app and give permission and clear cache n data.. but it is not working in infernus rom and i even changed the framework.jar that u have provided b4 for infernus and that gave me a bootloop
I'm not on infernus, I'm on Albe95 ASTRA N5 v2 for GT-i9505, but for me it worked simple, only delete the old Touchwizhome apk, leave the lib folder where it is and just copy the new apk in there, setting the right permissions and reboot, worked for me without clearing anything. Cheers
lol even on Note 5 MM(n920-c) we don't have fully animated clock it works like 5.1.1 clock
