Note 7 Refund Status?

Samsung will ask you to provide proof of purchase (any, even ebay will do) and will refund what you paid for as long as it's below retail price in Germany when phone was launched last year. This was my personal experience. Had 3 units of Note7, returned 1 to Samsung and also had no proof of purchase- they were very correct and asked me for proof of payment (bank transaction) and an email from the guy who sold me the phone. After 30 days the refund me the value I paid.
Yes this seems to be the case, but I bought it from a guy without any proof like receipt! In this case Samsung told me they are going to evaluate the price them selfs! So first I have to send it in and they gonna name a price and I have to accept it! No sending it back or anything! do you guys think that's risky? I mean they could say we are giving you 150€ take it or leave it we have ur note 7 and there is nothing you can do about it.

Via bank transfer... but I only payed 370€ back in January and couldn't believe my luck. I wanted the Note 7 @ Day 1 but was broke and thought to myself it's not going anywhere I can get it later on when I can afford it and it will be cheaper as well. But then the whole Battery Gate happened and I thought F**k I will never own a Note 7. But I kept an eye on ebay and the prices back then where ridiculous and they often got deleted like the auction I got mine from. But I had messaged the seller before without thinking much about it. But he actually got back and was willing to sell it to me! I didn't even asked any question I was just blind and would have done everything to get a Note 7 :D (kinda sad I want get rid of it sometimes).

So even when I convince Samsung that I payed 370€ I think it's waaay to low and not worth it. I was hoping getting 500€ and up so I can add a little and get a S8 or S8+. And you can't get a similarly good Phone for 370€*without adding a lot more money...

The thing with Samsung is way to risky. I guess I stick to my Note 7 until it breaks. I switch a lot of Phones the couple years so I should calm down and hold on to this beauty. it's still a great device and the one and only thing that annoys me is the lack of development. I honestly thought xda would develop no matter what but as you see I was very wrong.

i just preordered att note8 573$ taxes and shipping included. trade in my old freedompop iphone5 200$ off, another 225$ off for former note7 user.
Do you mind staying how exactly one goes about ordering it with the discount...? As in what info is required of the old note 7 owners?

Fellow Canadian Note 7 users. I've finally decided to return my N930FD for a refund. Could you tell me the number that you called to get things started? Their 1-855-747-6520 and 1-800-517-3507 is no longer in service.

I was told to wait 3-4 days, there will be initiatives for note 7 users in canada.
Now if you still planning to return it go to Samsung.com/ca and find live chat. Ask them there.
Let me know how it goes, as im waiting to hear the announcement first

Alright so I've called samsung and after A LOT of confusion they were able to tell me who to contact about the Note7 Refund. Now I'm waiting for their reply.

The one this that's tripping these guys out is I have the International Note7 (N930FD) and Im in Canada, when they try to input the IMEI they can't find it in there system. I hope it doesn't cause any problem.

Awesome, thx. Wonder what they'll say.

Right now im facing this.
Either bring s6 edge and get about 400 discount on new s8+. will be like 15-20$ added to my account monthly. + exchange my N7 for S7edge and give that new phone to my mom. She always had my used phones. Would be nice for her to get new phone. S7 edge will be more than enough for her.

Wait to see what they announce with N8.

Hopefully this happens soon, i dont want to wait too long. I like the new N8 allot but not to the point that ill feel bad on getting S8+

Yep, i heard allot of good things about g6. Not the best but does the job. I found myself pressing side buttons on S6 edge now. Never happened on G3. Im so much happier to be back on samsung tho.

Hey can you send me their contact. If no news come out this week ill go for exchange on S7.

I never used G6. If i had a G6 id be pretty happy with it.
I had G3 but i went with Freedom mobile and the G3 doesnt work on the network. So i had to switched with my mother. Took my old s6 edge from her and Im in love with the phone now.
G3 was cool but camera is crap, phone a bit slow and some other things as well. Im just a Samsung guy and it will be hard for me to switch to another brand. On my N7 i loved everything about it.
Ill send them an email. Before trade was out of the question but now since i can give the S7 away it makes sense.

Canadian Note 7 Refunders, specifically those in Toronto. I finally got my return box for my Note7 and the ship to address seems fishy to me. I just wanna be extra careful so I can get my cheque. Was this the same address you shipped to?

It took 51 days (36 business days) for me to receive my check after Sammy received my N7. Phone was received on 7-20-17, just got my check today(9-9-17).
