Note 7 Refund Status?

Has anyone recently gotten their refund cheque yet? I sent my Note7 back in August and still haven't gotten it...

I'm in the U.S. and my phone was delivered on 9/14/17 to the return department. I've yet to get a check or an e-mail about it.

Update, finally received an email 1/22/18 from Samsung that my refund has been approved and it will be mailed shortly. So finally some progress and hopefully an end to all of this shortly once I'm made whole.

Final update and probably my last visit to the Note7 forum, I received my compensation check yesterday 1/27/18. So 4 1/2 months after being received by Samsung I've been made whole. I just figured I'd post this for anyone who had been in a similar situation and still waiting, just hang in there.
