Did you check OEM unlock before you flash as per the instructions? not doing so will result in a boot loop.
Hi Guys,
I hope you can help me.
A friend of mine wanted necessarily The Hyra ROM on his SM-N930F.
Said and done. Then he has the OEM Unlock option in Hydra switched off and restarted.
Because the OEM Unlock option is off, Note 7 can't boot.
Btw twrp is installed, so I can not boot into the recovery.
If I try to flash the ROM from the SM-N930F I have so far received the following error messages:

Sw rev check fail device 3 binary 1
Secure check fail (radio / boot / recovery / ect.)
Custom binary blocked by FRP / FAP (?) Lock

Can you help me please? :(

To the experts! is that true? I heard a few times not to switch of OEM Unlock. Does this mean you brick ur phone if you accidentally turn off OEN Unlock even while rooted Hydra Rom installed and so on... if so that's horrible. One little mistake and you bricked the Note 7 for good? Please enlighten meeeeee.

So you can try to go back to stock, but not with the version you tried.
Your device is on baseband 3 "device 3" you wrote above, and you try to flash a baseband 1 stock "binary 1". This is prevented by some efuse, as it would be a downgrade to lower baseband rom.

You've to look for a baseband 3 stock rom (the 9th character in the rom to flash will show the baseband). But take into consideration that baseband 3 is a limiting or bricking firmware from sammy. If you flash it, just boot without mobile data and wifi to prevent making it worst, skip all steps for the phone first installation, and on home screen go to settings to switch oem unlock to <on> again.

After this follow all the steps to get Hydra again. Good luck!

pardon for caps lock @ ^

I wonder, does BB ver3 is the version being installed after every OTA or is it how it comes from factory?

My question really is because I am getting one note7 that has latest OTA installed and battery charging is permenently disabled and phone only operates while plugged in but never charging beyond 0%
, so my mission is of a similar nature, downgrade it and have it rooted, or have it rooted and then flash it with custom rom to try fix battery recharge facility so I could continue my custom battery retrofit endeavor, more here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/note-7/themes/note7-battery-swap-mod-note5-s6-s7e-t3545371

The same thing happened to me too, my SM-N930FD was previously on a lower version of the firmware and I installed HydraROM to allow the battery to be charged up to 100%.

I left the phone charging and a friend of mine turned off the OEM Unlock and rebooted the phone and god knows what else he did in between, when I got back I saw the phone was bricked and installing TWRP didn't work due to FRP Lock.

Hence, I decided to do a complete restore through Smart Switch and unfortunately Samsung removed all the firmware from their servers so Smart Switch will close every time I am done entering the phone model and serial number.

I tried using Odin and cycled through all the firmware I have on hand and none of them was successful because the bootloader didn't allow downgrading.

I hunted the whole internet looking for the most recent firmware and discovered N930FXXU3BPL2 which was released in December 2016. And the people whose hosting that copy of the firmware for downloading probably knew not many people had them so they started charging to download it, though not very expensive.

I fired up Odin and N930FXXU3BPL2 went through the first try, I was able to perform a complete restore and the rest is history as I am now back on HydraROM.

Please refer to this post if you are interested in a copy of the N930FXXU3BPL2 firmware.

Same issue with my S7 edge duos SM-G935F Twrp works ,downloading mode works tried everything but the errors refuse to go .

2.mount efs fails irrelavant argument
3.System boots to Samsung logo and that's it

i get same problem when flash TWRP without reboot after flash full odin firmware on my S8

no odin flash, no smartSwitch recovery, all doesn't work for me

but now i get work phone ;) for get work phone use this steps:

1. download FW for you phone
2. connect device and open odin and flash FW - you get error DeviceInfo
3. after #2 odin unlock options phone EFS clear and Phone Bootloader Update
4. i checked all options (T Flash, Nand Erase, Flash Lock etc) without "re-partition" (i don't get .pit file)
5. flash again and get error with Flash Lock - unchecked this
6. flash again and get error with T flash - unchecked this option
7. flash again and get error Write Operation Failed - uncheck Nand Erase
8. now flash firmware and boot to phone

Note: There may be a shorter sequence, but I have no more attempts to test what exactly was responsible for success

edit the odin.ini and modify the Deviceinfo=1 and save it. Then run odin and under the options tab unvheck the deviceinfo option. connect your device and flash the firmware again, it should get rid of the deviceinfo error

Can you help me, where I can get this?

Have you tried Emergency Device Recovery from SmartSwitch PC ?
I had same problem before.
Just before entering in download mode, push sound level high button to get recovery mode start again.
You need first to force reboot by pushing on/off + home + sound level low and just after reboot switch to sound level high button.
