well, any legit supplier had to pull out any note 7 batteries from being sold and note fe simply wasn't released as widely as note 7 or any other galaxy series phone, so most suppliers don't even have any parts for it, including batteries :(
Yeah but it really sucks, I know that south korean guy used to have Note FE batteries but I literally never saw any other anywhere, even on Samsung's official parts website and it's really weird

Yeah but what's weird is it WAS released in some markets, but even there they don't seem to have any

Oh my god there's still people active around here :D
Well, just like tudgirl, I have a Note7 without a battery (I threw mine away just worried it'd catch on fire), and so I have no OG battery controller on hand. There's a listing on eBay for an original Note7 battery, but it dates to 2016, so that's probably the bad ones. I also have no welding tools anywhere near me :) My best guest has been to search for a Galaxy battery with the same layout/connector as the Note7. For example, the Note5 or S7. I have a Note5 (not working) and an S6 edge, they served to help me see the physical differences on the battery connectors and I think maybe the S7 would work here, but I don't have a welding tool to do any of that stuff :(

Is there any advise? anyone who sells broken FE's or something of the likes?

sadly, its kind of became a niche product (that whole fe version), so even the software updates are almost surprising, samsung service centers probably has no problems getting parts, as for anyone else...

i haven't had or tried note fe battery, it might work just fine with an original note 7, or it might not work if they changed something at kernel level (for example original led cover don't work on note fe, etc), as for using other phones batteries at least for me it wasn't successful (unless i replaced the battery controller that is), they tend to not report proper capacity, charge intermittently, etc, so if you can get old battery with a original controller for cheap, i would go for it (it could be fake one though, ebay is ebay, unless its a used one that was pulled from a phone)

i am looking for new battery also. family member who used my note 7 abused the battery so the battery life decreased. but the batterycworks fine just not as brand new

You're EXTREMELY lucky then! I feel like I'm gonna have to buy a whole FE to get a battery honestly!

I have found a dude how sells authentic note 7 batteries for 50€, is it worth it? Long story short, I need a note 7 controller.
I would be skeptical about someone claiming to sell an original N7 battery. Perhaps the dude was selling the battery for the Note Fan Edition. If so, could you please let me know how to contact that dude.

Thank you.

Hey, i used a dremel like tool to cut and grind it off, any similar tool that gives enough precision would suffice
Thank u for your help but by the way I don't have the original battery controller. I just have the Note 8 battery. Someone dared to throw away the rest of the battery all I have left of the original battery is just the connector that goes on the motherboard. Help me please.

you would need the old controller, at least in my experience using new battery with diff controller would always produce bad battery capacity/percentage readings, wouldn't fully charge and other problems

Hi. Thanks again for your contribution. If i do the same thing like you https://i.imgur.com/QWIBIKO.jpg with a note 8 battery even if the battery indicator will disturb, will I still be able to use the phone without any problem like unwanted rebooting ?

rebooting possible, but my main gripe was that it could show small battery percentage and the phone would power down, despite the fact that you could immediately turn in on again and it would "magically" show some capacity left but it would repeat this patter again, so basically somewhat usable, but at least from my experience i wouldn't recommend it

The restart problem is really serious for me because I don't have the original pcb. I'm embarrassed considering that ordering a battery on eBay will take a long time. Thanks anyway for the support. I have no choice I will proceed like this ?.
