What are you basing this on? Is this confirmed by HK Samsung?
Apparently HK will only get the SD 835 SOC version. I havent read anything about an Exynos version being released or an N9500 exynos version. I have seen N950FD and FZ which are exynos variants with 256gb and dual sim though it lacks cdma support unlike N9500 SD 835
variant elsewhere.
I have received my X-Extender from Simore. It works very well. Dual sim + microSD. But you have to use a silicon case in order to handle the outside part holding the second sim. Other than that it is perfect.
Also, at wondamobile you can order dual sim Note 8 with 128 or 256 gb. Snapdragon version only but no bloatware.

I had read in one website but cannot recollect where exactly. They had mentioned with dates. But ebay is showing Dual sim with 256GB available now. But the seller is not reliable.

kimimobile seems to be purposely misleading customers and changing their listings purposely putting in incorrect or incomplete model numbers

Hi @evangelionpunk - can you tell me where you saw references to N950FD and FZ (Exynos) with 256GB Dual sim??? I am going crazy waiting for this model to be available! I keep checking ebay daily but so far no joy.

Check in ebay. One seller kimbmobile is selling it. But as i told u i do not believe this guy.
LOL @maheshhtc perhaps you forgot already but I am the one that has had the bad experience with this fellow and reported it here on XDA! As well, he is selling N9500 completely different Snapdragon model. As I said in my earlier post I have been checking Ebay daily for N950FD Duos in 256GB and so far it does not exist. That is unless you, or anyone else can let me know otherwise.
I cannot wait. Finally i got my Note 8 Duos with 64GB & ordered Simore X-Extender 2 & 256GB card.

Can anyone tell me why is snapdragon less preferred? I'm trying to find my phone and don't want to spend money if there is specific reason for it to be less preferred.

Same seller I was talking about post before. Even when issue is pointed out they purposely obfuscate it with non-existent models.
Wondering if fake or maybe added an sdcard to market it as '256gb'

I was told by 2 different samsung dealers that the FD and FZ models will have 256GB. They were saying it MAY get released soon this month.
HK apparently will only get N9500 which is qualcomm and there will be no exynos version there. So I was surprised to read here someone saying they will have a exynos version very soon......

I am thinking it may be N950FD if the above web link is any guide. If 256GB is going to be a month or more and this shows up soon I suppose I could live with 128GB. But I am really hoping someone will confirm the existence/availability of the 256GB Duos, Exynos, Grey version soon.

Samsung connected wholesaler and samsung itself in Singapore and Taiwan (FD and FZ models of those 2 countries). I'm still holding out in the hopes of reading or hearing something about a exynos model in HK similar to N9500 which appears to be the best global phone choice to go with in terms of frequencies, bands and network compatibility. Second in line likely is the FD model.
I will not buy anything from Kimbimobile as I can not trust anything he advertises or says.
I agree - I'm totally done with that dude. Let me know if you find a new Exynos model with more bands but so far I think the FD version is the best for max compatibility from the present models?

Thank you for this. I'm a newbie going for Android. Based on what I read - the benefit for exynos is only on the ability to root the phone. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Honestly I don't know if I will care to root the phone beyond my normal use. I'm pretty bad with technology.
I'm checking my network of friends in this part of world to see if we can get a hand on 256 exynos phone. We are checking Korea and Japan. Will let u all know if I manage to get it.
