Was there ever a resolution to this problem other than the cleaning tip above?
I have a Note 8 (N950F) on which the USB functionality is fine in every way but for OTG USB connections.
I have 2 OTG USB adapters (one of which is the original boxed one) ...that used to work just fine but now do not. They do work on other phones however.
I'm trying to connect Gear VR, Nikon camera, logitech mouse and none give any functionality or notifications on the phone.
I'm rooted through magisk, if this has any bearing?
OTG USB connections ae completely ignored by teh phone.
Any help?
