I've never been a fan of Mophie and that's probably because they rip people off with their pricing. Just go and look at their portable batteries and your jaw will drop. I think Anker, zerolemon, and Rav power are really killing the game. Might put Mophie out of business if they keep their prices so high. Their products are **** relative to the price they ask. $150 for a 13,000 mAh power bank... Like wtf!!
Well anyways, I've also been looking for something like 2500 mAh battery pack for the note 8. Had a S8 plus and got the zerolemon one and holy crap that was massive. Very hard to use and very uncomfortable in the hand. It was still a great case and nothing wrong with it but it sucks no one has something smaller than 5500. Honestly I think the reason is that that are all using the same supplier or the same battery and you can tell they are all the same battery cases. Exact same button design and everything lol. So I hope some company decides to come out with a smaller slimmer battery case. I feel like alot of people would buy!
They're expensive, but it's a name a lot of people trust and will buy. They do stand behind their products unlike a lot of those generic chinese brands you see. They're not really ripping people off if people are willing to pay the price; it's no different than people buying Apple products saying the same thing. I ordered a 6500 mah battery case from ali-express for around $25 and should be here within 2 weeks. Going to be using it when I'm traveling, and didn't want a brick as big as the zero lemon.

Seems like Mophie is the first one to come out with a smaller mAh battery bank. It's got a 2,950 mAh battery in the case and looks like it's not to thick. Biggest set back for me is that it's $100!!

so far on EBAY and Amazon they are ALL the same 5500mah device, regardless of brand. Anyone seen anything else interesting?

I would love to find a thin case with 2000mah.
The cover should also Fast Charge provided , not a word about that. All these brands hide fast charging available or not , Qualcomm 3.0 is charging at 19W. How about these covers ?

I've used the 6500 mah battery case I linked and it's thickness is about double the size of the note 8 and it's definitely not 6500mah. It does charge the phone once though. The side buttons are a little hard to press and it's fairly easy to put the case on and take it off. It's not bad for a travel battery case and a lot slimmer than a zero lemon 10,000mah battery case.

I just ordered this one on Amazon UK. RUNSY Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Battery Case, 6500mAh Rechargeable Extended Battery Charging Case, External Battery Charger Case, Backup Power Bank Case with S-Pen Hole (Black) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B076HWYC5D/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_XkliAbXBEENN1

I'll report back on my findings after it arrives tomorrow.

It looks to be the exact same type as yours.

So what is the best/most expensive Battery case for Note8?
So, the one I ordered is amazing. I use the app ampere to test the mA via my fast usb-c charger and choetech fast wireless charger. The best I've gotten is 1030-1040 mA on usb-c charger and around 1000 mA on the fast wireless charger. With this battery case, it charges the phone at 1030 mA like being on the usb-c charger, which really impressed me. I'll update this as I use it more. It's made really well. My note 8 fits in it perfectly without any gaps or defects. :cowboy:

Can you charge the case with the wireless charger? And is it truly 6500mAh?

No. No battery case let's you wireless charge for the note 8 except the mophie battery case, which isn't worth it due to price and small mAh capacity. Also, unfortunately, no battery case including mophie allows NFC due to thickness.

Regarding the full capacity, I'm not 100% sure because I haven't charged my phone from anything lower than 40% yet. I'll update after a few cycles, but it does work very well consistently so far, which is in important in regards to holding charge etc.

I ended up purchasing all three, the zerolemon 10k, 5.5k and the mophie. the 5.5k mah and mophie are similar form factors however I feel the mophie sits better in hand than the other two while being more light weight. I was worried about my type c connector so I opted for the mophie as the connector doesn't bend when placing the phone in the case. I also bought magnetic type c adapters so I never have to plug and unplug anything in. price point yes mophie is double the price yet I'm happy with my purchases ?
