Note 8 n950f carlo Carlo bluetooth issues???

I have a Note 8 n950f (carrier is Carlo a Puerto rico phone service) phone works good except the bluetooth keeps skipping and disconnecting from my car. Plus sometimes my text messages don't go through sometimes and I have to resend them. I've searched the forms that match my model and problem but can't find any solutions that I've already tried ( clear system cache, disconnect bluetooth reconnect, factory data reset etc.) Still cannot get it to stay connected. Any solution? Should I flash the OS (8.0)?
