Hello. I Have a live demo i bought off of offer-up. how would i connect this to odin? Its in download mode when i connect. i dont understand

SM-N950XU is NOT a device to be sold to customers, but for retailers only!

Yeah, I really don't know how Samsung Galaxy LDUs end up in the hands of individuals, because I thought they had to be returned to Samsung up to a few days after a store gets the LDUs of the next generation of that series.

Discussing ways of bypassing certain security features has been deemed by the moderator group to be providing ways for thieves to benefit from stolen devices. This is admittedly a grey area, but we don't want to facilitate illegal activities.

This is off-topic though. I'm happy to discuss legitimate questions about this, but not here. PM me or any other moderator if you have further questions.

Someone that bought the device from "Letgo" is clearly not a store owner. Even if they were, the devices are not meant to be used other than for in-store demos. Hence why they cannot successfully flash non-demo firmware onto them. Shady crap like this is why we have to deal with more and more restricted hardware from the manufacturers.

Hi, i have a Note 8 N950XU with Snapdragon, it worked fine with the pre installed Demo ROM, but i installed the N950U Firmware and since then it shows me Security Error: Unauthorized Software has been flashed bla bla bla, as you can see on the attached picture. I even got the original N950XU Demo Firmware and flashed it, but still shows me the same error! Anyone knows how to fix this ? Odin passes through with no error, but the phone never boots up, only the security error. I just want my phone back to working order :crying:

You Should test with a Jig cable. Trying For Enter To Download Mode.
