i have no issues with flashing the stock rom, it is working fine. But when i try installing a custom rom, this happens. Do i have to do something in the stock rom regarding these apps to make sure they don't bother when installing a custom rom???

also, the link you shared claims someone installed those apps using lucky patcher, which means the dude was booted inside the rom, as soon as the system boots, it locks me out. the only thing i can do is boot into recovery.
Boot into recovery and press mount and select system (pic 1) then go back to main twrp screen and select advanced then file manager (pic 2) then press the folders like in (pic 3) and the file is there. Now copy the file to your sd card and put the sd card into your pc and alter the text like it says in the thread. Save it and put the sd card back in your phone and boot to twrp. Mount system, then use the twrp file manager to find the altered xml on your sd card and copy it, then go to same path as before where you found the original file and paste, then chmod it to 0644 (I think) and reboot phone

That's superb. Thanks so much. I got it to work but not with the method you suggested. I saw this afterwards. Basically I flashed the verity zip and that's it. I'm booted and rooted.

Thanks for everything bud

The binary for NFE pie stock will be higher than the binary for NFE oreo stock so when you flash in Odin it will fail at s.bin on binary rev.

Did you debloat the payment services from stock rom?

But it can be flashed if we're rooted right? Maybe I'm wrong.
But from my understanding, you'd know better. Is it possible to flash custom Oreo, in a way that the binary is overlooked someway? Just curious

Is your Rom or the upcoming one, better than stock in someway? They aren't mentioned anywhere.
Just curious and anxious to flash your upcoming creation. :)

You can flash an Oreo custom rom i think, when you flash a custom rom you only flash the ap (system.img) you miss out the bootloader which has the binary rev in it, find an NFE Oreo rom on xda and flash it, if it goes wrong just flash stock again. The rom I'm doing is N8 firmware looks a little different, few different features but still pie. There's V1.0 out, give it a flash and see if you like it, just doing v2.0 to update the security patch

Hi bro @MKUltraBlack

Is there a way to bring Live Caption to your rom android 9?
e.x install SQLlite module on Magisk and then put Device Personallization Services app into system app?
