Started having the same problem. When I power off the device and power it back on. I hear a crackling sounds when booting up and then it stops.

For some reason when I have my middle finger right below the port with case on. After a bit of holding phone I get a moisture detected.

Question can I do a warranty claim if i have the oreo firmware beta CRD7. Snapdragon TMO

I have exactly the same issue with an unlocked UK note 8 Dual sim direct from Samsung. It was perfect before the Oreo update. Extremely annoying!
