Can't turn on the scene optimizer.... How do I do that. Is there an option I should choose before turning it on?

I installed it on my S9+ and I do not have the option to turn on flash while on live focus, I cannot get a notification stating what scene has been detected, even though the settings contain the option of scene detection turned on. Is it supposed to be this way or is it just me?

well done mate! is the super slow mo any better? My S7 was so easy to use.. my S9 Plus super slow mo is terrible to get working. (Works well when it does!)

Yeah its somewhat better. There is less flickering and can record at 0.4sec

I don't have flashlight on live focus on my s9+ and can the app be renamed to camera? Triggers me to have the name 'automatic'..

I did as described on fist page and flashed the ZIP but somehow I ended up with the same cam as before. The version 8.1.00.18
Any idea what went wrong?

Root isnt necessary, just TWRP, Without that Not at the Moment. You'll have to wait for Pie to be released by Samsung to get these features

It would be quite nice if someone can clarify how can we enable the -
AI features like Screen Optimizer to show notifications to inform of what it really sees
- Notifications on Flaw Detection
- Flashlight in Live Focus mode

I basically only got the - 0.2 and 0.4 sec Super Slow-Mo

Hi after flashing the new zip the app version is still 8.1.00.18
Should I only clear cache or dalvic cache too?

EDIT: I had to
* extract the app from the zip,
* delete apk in private-app/SamsungCamera8
* copy the extracted apk to the place
* set permissions to 644
* wipe cache and reboot

Now I have 8.5.05.24

hm don't know if its working for me. I'm on s9+ with odexed custom rom. i flashed the zip but still camera 8.1. then i put the xml and apk manually into the folders, deleted cache and reboot. but still canera 8.1.

i hope someobe can help

edit: ok. copied again. now I have the new version but fc. no luck with clearing cache...

Are you sure this is working on S9?

Do you get the little popup notice when the scene is detected. Like how it works here.

I don't get any pop up saying different scene detected, but I have the option in settings and .04 slow motion on my S9

I don't think so. Try dirty flash and then check the version of the app. It's it ends with .024 then it's all good. Anyways you can always delete the dtaa if the app and uninstall it manually by deleting the apk file from /system/priv-app
