Note 9 Fingerprint sensor not working

I'm using Note 9 Eynos version, running :
One UI version 1.0
Android version 9
Android security patch level 1 April 2019
I've never used fingerprint sensor before, I tried today and it's not working. Not respoding at all.
Does anyone have idea what could be wrong here?

Try to delete saved fingerprint and setup again.

I though you already have it setup and unlocking didn't work...

I work with abrasive items I gave up up on fingerprint scanners a long time ago as they could never read my fingerprint, I've always just given up on them as seemingly if you have light fingerprints they just can't read them. I much prefer the iris sensor, once you get use to it you just need look at the phone, just a shame most apps don't support it at the same level as the fingerprint reader.

I would take your device to a Samsung Service Centre and let them take a look at it
