by flashing back stock vendor, arent you ending up with a device that is stock with no mods?
Flashing standalone vendor image over the custom rom does not influence installed rom or its mods.by flashing back stock vendor, arent you ending up with a device that is stock with no mods?
I will give that a try. Thanksflashing is successful, phone boots but settings fc without possibility of ending the initial installation
Please can you confirm something very important for me...do you have the OEM Unlock option available out of the box on this firmware? I'd like to try and download it and flash it without waiting for the 7-day period before OEM Unlock appears in the Developer menu...I want to make sure I get this right. I am using SM-N96F with the following firmware : N960FXXU1ARH5_N960FOXM1ARGD_BTU
I do the following:
-Enable "OEM Unlock" From Developer Option
...
The firmware is official Samsung UK with OEM unlock available:good:Please can you confirm something very important for me...do you have the OEM Unlock option available out of the box on this firmware? "TESTING MEANS TESTING"
ROM may be official or killed for ever.
As per 2 users rom finally boots fine on note 9
It was vendor issue only
I added 1 for 3 devices which caused issue
Now rom will boot fine, no settings fc
?Don't give up yet.
I'm fine with testing.
I have mad backups and I can't be oem jailed.
Booted up earlier today (flashed vendor prior to booting up) and was able to go thru setup - rom seemed to work pretty well.We will have testing as long as users are in the game
I have less time last 1 week, busy with office projects
Last 3 Night ls for only 3 hrs I'm working on this rom
Weekend I'm free again will update all 10 + Roms
Weekend will make this rom stable for n9 first then for s9 s9+
will check thatBooted up earlier today (flashed vendor prior to booting up) and was able to go thru setup - rom seemed to work pretty well.
I tried to use Android Auto in my car and I could not get the phone to connect to the Car Stereo I use it with - so something is going on but that was the only real problem I found. (I turned off USB Debugging which was turned on after flashing the rom - but even after turning that off, I could not connect Android Auto) thought you might want to know.
thanks for all your work
