Question Notification sound for Viber keeps returning to default?

So, I am trying to change the notification sound on my new Mi 11. I select a new notification sound, first few messages that I get use that sound, and after that, sound "magically" returns to default Viber notification sound. Has anyone had similar problem, how it can be fixed?

Same issue with my Poco F2 pro. Still cannot get it resolved.

Same thing with my Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro on MIUI 12...

Disable MIUI optimization in developer options, it might be the reason.

The reason is new update fo themes app. On old one is without any problems with it.

Please, what "fo themes app" are you talking about ? I have same issue on MIUI 12.5, cannot resolve problem, when close viber sound notify reverted to default.

You can set sound by theme app but the newest one is with this bug. I uinstaled this update and I do not have any issue with sonds or ringtone.

On 12.5 version i cannot uninstall(no option to remove update) updated theme app.

So true, for notification bug, dpi bug (resetted on reboot on MIUI 13) and always no gestures for 3rd party launcher... Change for a Pixel soon
