Notifications not playing through headphone

Hello there,

I'm running CM 10.1 on my GS3 and I noticed that when I have my headphones plugged in and I receive a call/notification, the sound/ringtone still plays through the speaker. I can't seem to find any option relating to this in the settings, anyone know if there is a fix or a setting I can change to get this working properly?
