Notifications on lockscreen

G'day, I take a lot of meds during the day and have an app that has never let me down give me notifications butt since I got the S7+ the app (and all others) don't show notifications on the lockscreen, wake the lockscreen

I haven't used Samsung for a few years so I could be missing something

Any help appreciated please
