i cant seem to get my notifications to show up on the always on display. has anyone else had this issue?

Go to notifications option
For Facebook
Messenger
Telegram
And make all notifications options
On lock screen/ show all notifications in lock screen
You must do this for all notifications options with each app
Yeah I did that and still no luck. I wish they had an option like that for the always on display and not just the lock screen.
So I figured out what was causing the notifications to not show up on the always on display... I had turned off the lock screen because I got tired of dealing with it (lol). I turned it back on and the notifications started showing up on AOD again! So I guess the AOD is also considered a lock screen

It is an awesome phone and I would recommend it. I feel like the hardware is at least one generation ahead of Samsung.
They will announce new edition one with mi13 pro soon. Mayb the newer CPU and better camera
