I have been running this ROM for a few days now, nativeSD installation. I have only a class 4 Sandisk SD card, but it's still faster than installing in the NAND :) However I have often a problem with receiving calls: when I answer to the call, I hear a buzz sound and the com.android.phone process crashes. The device keeps working as always, no freezes or anything, but I miss the call and phone calls won't work anymore until I reboot the device.
I should mention that I used to have this issue also when I was running this ROM with "Data on EXT" installation.

Please help, I like the ROM very much but I can't keep missing calls

I have your issue in nexushd2 ics lastest build with nand option. I wrote it in ics topic and tytung requested logcat from me. But I have no time to install another rom:( so I couldnt send logcat. Maybe you can. Please look nexushd2 ics topics lastest 1-2 or 3rd pages.

been using this rom and so far very comfortable :) thnx for the great work...

however, have a few things to be asked.

can i change the font size? its too big for me (cant find this option in settings)
also the home screen icons are too big for me...perhaps change in DPI can fix this, but i dont know how to do that. any suggestions?

lastly, can i have the option of quick unlock like in ICS and JB?

Thanks for the wi-fi solution. It works when i want to switch wifi to 3G connection.

How do I get DataonEXT working with this rom? When I make an EXT partition with CWM on my SD card and after that I install this rom and choose the middle option (System on NAND, Data on EXT) I see 0 internal space in Android after it is installed. So it doesn't work correctly.

When I totally install the rom on NAND without a special SD partition the phone itself has about 200 MB of storage left, so 0 internal space with the EXT partition is wrong.

Can anybody help me?

What size is your Ext partition? Also if you made the partition with CWM then it will be Ext3 not Ext4. You could try using MiniTool Partition Wizard to set up your SD Card partitions correctly. ;)

1GB made with CWM.

I can't get it working. After I ran the scriptkiller file in CWM it stays on HTC boot logo forever.

And what option do I need to choose in the installer?


I find it really strange that the installer with the DataOnEXT option doesn't do anything already. What's the difference between the first option then?

What I suggest you do is to use MiniTool Partition Wizard to set up your Ext4 partition on your SD Card. You could also try a clean install. Just delete the .android_secure folder on the SD Card then go into CWM and select factory reset - this will clear all data and wipe the ext partition. Then try installing again using the DataOnExt option. You do not need to do anything else ;)

I flashed NexusHD2-Gingerbread V3.3a native SD, which was so fast, stable, and clean ROM, but it can't read Arabic, i flashed RTL_farsi_arabic_support_NexusHD2_V3.2a_ByTamer-signed.zip from recovery but still have the same Arabic language problem, so i don't know if i flash this Rom on nand and flash RTL_farsi_arabic add on from recovery will solve my problem or not ?
i know this rom is released on 2012 and now 2013 is there any new way to make this so good rom read Arabic?

i like this ROM so much, but i need it to read Arabic, any one can solve this problem please, i used ( RTL_farsi_arabic_support_NexusHD2_V3.2a_ByTamer-signed.zip ) but still have the problem :crying:

no need to. just extract the zip to your pc, copy the apk to your sd, then from your phone using a root file manager copy the apk from sd to /system/app
then camera should be installed and working fine

      • Installing CWM_Recovery_for_NexusHD2 (135MB system and 2MB cache) to create a space-efficient NAND partition layout designed specifically for NexusHD2 series is highly recommended if coming from another ROM.
      • For Android installation you need to enter CWM Recovery.
      • CWM: backup and restore => Backup you current ROM first. (optional but recommended)
      • CWM: wipe data/factory reset if coming from another ROM or wanting to have a clean installation. (optional but recommended)
      • CWM: install zip from sdcard: navigate to NexusHD2-Gingerbread_V3.3a-(Android-2.3.7).zip to finish the Android installation.

    Best way to have 2.4 with working Market...
    Get V2.3 and V2.4 CWM files
    Do a clean install of V2.3, boot it, do your first settings (like set account, your sound, language and these settings)
    Open Market ONCE do your account link with it (clicking accept)
    Shutdown phone...
    Boot into CWM Recovery again, choose install zip from SD card, choose V2.4 DO NOT DO ANY WIPE, simply install this zip and REBOOT
    v2.4 will be working fine, with all new stuff and market ok too :)

    Enabling the Apps2SD+ is so easy! :)

    If you're a Leo512 (512MB ROM) user, you may want to enable the Apps2SD+ function to have much data space.
    It also works with Leo1024 users.

    Installation:
    1. Create an Ext2, Ext3 or Ext4 partition in your SD card. (Tutorial for Windows)
    2. Download dtapps2sd-2.7.5.2-signed.zip and place it in the SD card. (Credit to tkirton, the developer of Darktremor Apps2SD)
    3. Enter MAGLDR. (hold "Power" button during boot)
    4. Choose AD Recovery (in MAGLDR 1.13) or Boot AD SD (in MAGLDR 1.11~1.13) to enter the ClockworkMod Recovery.
    5. Choose install zip from sdcard and choose dtapps2sd-2.7.5.2-signed.zip to finish the installation.
    6. Reboot to take effect.
    7. All done! (Your apps will be moved to the Ext2/3/4 partition.)

    Apr 09 update: You can also use Darktremor Apps2SD 2.7.5.3 Beta 04.
