Use this at your own risk!!!

I managed to successfully minimize lag on Nova 3 by doing the following:

EZOverclock 1.6ghz Performance
Performance Mode in Settings > Asus
Read Ahead cache 4096
FSync disabled in sqlite (for some reason this speeds things up whereas before I would get alot of lag (loading of app data I believe is much faster)

For those that understand FSync, this is not good if you have a crash as you can corrupt data integrity in certain apps, however it depends on what you are doing, I know myself I keep all important data on dropbox, drive, gmail, etc. and keep things backed up regularly using clockwork. So far I've had no issue with FSync off and my benchmark from RL Benchmark went from 130 seconds down to 21 seconds, a big difference, obviously there is something inefficient going on at the hardware level, however with faster sql speeds, I think corruption is less likely.

Antutu score I got was about 12700 on stock kernel on Hydro rom, If you dont understand any of the terms I'm talking about then you probably shouldn't be doing this.

I repeat if you have data/job sensitive criticial info on your tablet I don't recommend this

Interesting find. What scores are you getting in Quadrant with those tweaks/settings?

Also, I haven't played the game that much yet, but where are you noticing the lag mostly? Too me it's mostly in initially loading the game, and sometimes FCs when there's a lot of other apps running...

But, I agree that the the game *should* be running overall a lot smoother on our hardware...

fsync off is ok as long as your tablet switches off whilst you are using for example if your battery died there and then, if it was in sleep mode and your battery died i think that would be ok, similar risk with your sdcard, pulling it out whilst it is writing data,

i make sure i turn my tablet off if im not using it for prolonged periods

Quadrant is 5011
