Im using Nova and the stock weather widget works fine as well as the lock screen. However, the clock and weather widget will not show..weather only and this is needed to show on the lock screen as well. At least this is what i have found out.

There is a way to do it. Technically, won't be the widget but it will be a zooper that looks just like it. You'll also have to add some transparent icons to open the app whenever you tap the widget. I'll find to how to and post it here

Here you go the zoomed widget that looks like the Samsung weather widget https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.designedly.zwskin.s6widgets

And this is what the widget looks like.

Had to post a link because when I try to attach an image using tapatalk the app is FC on me.

Note 5 Weather Widget Works With Nova

Hey guys the weather widget actually works on Nova..

The thing is the widget looks different in the preview of Nova Widgets.. The widget looks like white blue calendar in the preview however once you put the widget on the "Desktop" it'll turn into the one thats on the touchwiz launcher.

The only thing that is not available is the clean digital clock but you can do my fix which comes pretty close to the clock widget.

The clock I'm using is a skin through beautiful widgets pro.
- BW Clock 2x1
- Skin: S5-Lollipop-Smooth.
- Turn the background to 0%
- Feature: none
- Select the Date Format of your choice

Once you guys get the widgets setup re-size them to complete the look.

Hope this helps!!

Look at my setup below with original weather widget that comes in the note 5

For some reason I remember it appeared in the widgets on the Note 4 even with Nova. But, you can't on the Note 5. However, you can use a 3rd party widget application (like Zooper) and install an S6 Weather widget (which is pretty much the same as the stock Note 5 weather widget). Or you could use UCCW or Zooper and create your own. I was going to do that, but I got lazy and bought one from the play store for $0.99 that works with Zooper Pro.
On the Note 4 KitKat ROMs, it worked but from Lollipop onwards, it was limited to TouchWiz. I had a Galaxy S5 for a little bit and it was the same way on KitKat. It must be Sammy's doing. With the Note5, we're out of luck.

Isn't there an xPosed tweak that enables these widgets on any launcher?

Please where can i find your wallpapers??

Thanks!!

It you're looking for something similar and clean looking like the stock widget you could run a Brightweather and Timely Combination. Have App Overlay turned on and place Brightweather at the top and then Timely below it and stretch Brightweather over Timely to give make it look as if it's one widget and while keeping it clean.

This is how I had it set up for example. I hope this is a good alternative for you!

Samsung hiding some widgets from 3rd party launchers like S planner and weather widgets.. After long search I have tried, Zoper, overlays.. And many others..
There is a simple app let's you gets whatever stock widget you need, even more beautiful moded versions, as well as the originalstock widget.
Just type in play store XWidget
The good thing no other app or customizationsyouhave to do, just choose the widget size and that is all
In my screenshot this S6 widget V5

Hey! Sorry for the late reply, I've been pretty busy lately. The wallpapers are from an app called: Material Wallpapers by HarshSinghvi, he also has one called: Material Wallpapers (Android L). They're both free.

I'm also using the MIN Icon pack by SixtyFour ThirtyTwo, Bright Weather by Level Up Studio along with Timely Alarm Clock by Bitspin.

If you have any other questions let me know either here or by PM.

Thanks!

Do you mean on the Lock screen or the home screen?

you can get the weather widget on the lock screen when Nova is your default launcher. -

All you have to do is setup weather in your touchwiz launcher - once you have a location assigned in the stock home screen weather widget in Touchwiz launcher - the weather will be added to the lock screen regardless of whether you use Touchwiz or Nova - but you have to turn it on in Touchwiz to get it to work on the lock screen after Nova is set as your default launcher.

I also just tried to add "weather widget" on my Nova Home Screen and it works too - I dont know if adding it in Nova will automatically inlcude it on the lock screen or not - but I know if you follow the instructions above, it does work.

Hope that helps.
Perfect. Thank you!
