Question Nova Launcher

I'm getting the "disable error" too...

"Disable Permission Monitoring" disabled
"USB Debugging" enabled

I also tried:
adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 <package_name>

I get a reaction, but it doesnt work.

cmd package set-home-activity com.teslacoilsw.launcher

My issue is how nova displays the dock..

If I do this:
I swipe up from the bottom, I come home to nova. If I swipe up again, I come home to color OS 12. And this is repeated again and again.

I ran:

cmd package set-home-activity com.teslacoilsw.launcher

And the Nova launcher works. The search bar orientation was wrong so I just removed it. All the good Nova stuff works.

unfortunately this is the case for everyone until we will remove that stock one

Yes but not just because of that, I could not use Android Auto or Google Messages as well, so it was not the experience I wanted.

To the people who got Nova working, were you able to get the Google Discover integration to work? It's not showing up for me for installing the apk.

So, I managed to solve the orientation (portrait, landscape for inner and outer screen)
Also I got the launcher working
You will need Tasker (~3$) and import my xml file
The only side effect I found so far that I lost recent apps tray cant control it

I need someone to test the setup before a I publish it

Yes, cannot access recent apps from home because the ways I set it up with tasker

So what does your tasker 'fix' do?

The profile changes the default launcher to any launcher you want basically

Also some apps launch with different orientation than other apps the profile fixes that also

It will also servive a reboot so its permanent
