"NV Backup warning"

Hello guys, I bought a brandnew OnePlus 3 3 days ago. 64GB, runs totally on stock. But it gives me a notification saying "NV Backup warning. Invalid VIP NVs......". The notification gives me the option to never show. But I want to know what this really does.
Everytime I restart the device it comes up. I inserted the sim, did a master reset as well. But nothing helped.

Is this a faulty device?? I searched but couldn't find a proper solution anywhere.

I solved it myself. If anyone is having the same issue this is how I solved it.
Dialled *#268# and pressed Backup NV and restored it again.
This seems to have solved it. Everything looks good now!
