The tittle in the thread is about IMEI lost and NVRAM issue related with. What do you want to do onto your device right now? Unlock it?, Which method are you using?
I have the same problem as you, I gave it format all+download and killed the nvram partition of our devices, what I want to know is how to load TWRP into the system to be able to do the procedure they did in the forum

can you link that thread, i haven't found any thread with imei solution,
i did once used chameleon phone apk to write fake imei with root, but that fix did not work, (upon reset, imei was again gone)
also it only worked on low level androids, doesn't work android 11,12,13
Chameleon didn't work for me, though. This is the link, I didn't try it my self, because I sold the device almost a year ago https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/hard-bricked-realme-7.4224115/post-88043143

Okay so I tried that method, it actually does overwrite the imei, but it is only a temporary fix as It uses magisk module to fake it..

My sim card still didn't work after imei overwrite, maybe because imeiSV is still unknown..

Same here, I don't trust much, that this method really works, or survive within reboots, or factory resetting.
And the baseband is good?

Hi people, I was for hours investigating the partitions of my RMX2020 and I discovered that with writing in the android file scatter, find the name of the partition and put TRUE, I could enable it to recover the bootloader, here I leave the zip with the modified android_file_scatter, also to solve the problem of nvram warning

If you do not have the files that appear in the zip just search (* phone model * _dump file) and you're done and change the values from false to true of your model's scattered file

Yup the baseband version is still good.

Already tried that, doesn't work, the baseband version goes null after flashing with modified scatter and those listed partions.

i am not sure but i feel with the SN tool, the IMEI could be written again if we have valid database MD1-DB and AP - DB file which is not available for MT6785. SN tool help write with dual sim But it requires Original IMEI number to write again.
What about mtk 6768, ihave redmi note 11 4G stucked in recovry and NV DATA CURREPTED, if ther is solution helpe me, and thenks.

You should look for the nv_data file of your phone and with the sp flash tool you should flash_ that is my idea that I can raise but investigate better because I do not own a phone xiaomi
I have tried what you are suggesting, and it leads to no imei repair and baseband unknown as well, I tried my device specific backup,
Though it doesn't mean that it would not work for you, you can give it a try, these devices are unpredictable

Wrong, and how did you recover the baseband of the device?
By deleting nvram folder in twrp

Man I have tried to place the TWRP or PBRP on the recovery partition. Img in the sp flash tool and I continue in the recovery stock, explain me in detail how I do

In my long shots trying to sort out things, I found that nvdata, either a new one, or from a back-up don't have to be flashed, they have to be recreated/populated at every reboot, in case you format it., so you can try the guide without this partition.

Then why the imei is not populated like other information like baseband,

I was on the edge of writing imei by modem meta tool ,but when I use the built-in hex editor in modem meta, after editing the nvram partion upon saving, the whole application crashes..

They're different, IMEI is unique for every device, and it is hard coded, once is "lost", it can't be recover using simply software, it needs pure hardware, to be rewritten at a very low level. NVdata is just one of the partition related to the baseband, not directly related to the IMEI.

This is the reason why, you can´t...

When I tried, it didn't crash, simply it got to 99%, and finished with no success.

    ENG ROM = Engineering ROM

From what I know, there is not an ENG ROM available for this device, unless in the technician community, they share a dumped ROM, among them, but not for public.
    Exactly, that's what I thought

Hi everyone. My phone is null with IMEI after the format all and update. In order to rewrite the IMEI with SN tool. I need help from you guys. MD1-DB and AP-DB files for MTK6785 realme 7 rmx2151 files. can some1 help me to get this file. OR any alternative tool to write IMEI number? I have my original IMEI. Help me @xda developers..
Many of us, are in the same boat, no way to recover as of now, it seems that newer MTK devices do inaccessible the partition where’s IMEI is placed. If someone knows some solution, can share here.

If you had made a backup, you could restore it though, not totally sure if it can be re-written this way though.

There are other files called data apart the ofp file that can't be flashed using SP Flash tool, these are -I guess- for calibration, and could allow recovering them.

To recover the baseband you should flash any RM6785 ROM, for IMEI, no luck with it.

finally found a database for mt6785 for SN tool. use Original IMEI.. i am not responsible for any activity. Do it with your own Risk. password= pacha123
Thanks, but these files are available in the ROM for R7, SN Write tool needs DB and AP files, these files used to be found in other devices with MTK, anyway SN Write tool doesn't recognize properly the device, and the result is always "fail", it seems that this device needs something like a permissive kernel to pass, not completely sure though.
