Nvidia game with mouse/keyboard?

Are any of the games that are ports like portal or half life 2 able to support keyboard and mouse? I recently retired my last pc other than an old laptop, don't ask, and was hoping to play those games again, but prefer the good old mouse to aim. I understand that in not what is expected, but seeing as it works with keyboard and mouse stock, I thought I'd ask. Thank you so much for your time.
