Hi Guys
Could someone help me about GPRS connection? I setup my Wizard as received from the O2 provider:
Manually enter GPRS Settings for the O2 XDA
o Go to Start > Settings > Connections tab > Connections Icon
o In the top section When needed, automatically connection to the Internet using these settings: make sure that Internet Settings is selected in the dropdown box and hit Modify button
Either tap the connection you would like to check (O2 IRL GPRS WAP, O2 IRL GSM etc) OR click New... to create a new profile
Enter the following settings:
o Enter a name for the connection: o2 irl gprs wap
o Select a modem: Cellular line (GPRS)
o Baud rate: 57600
o Press Next button
o Press Advanced button, leave first page TCP/IP as is. Press the Name Servers tab
Tick the option "Use specific server address" and enter the following:
o DNS: 62.40.32.33
o Alt DNS: 62.40.32.34
o WINS: leave blank
o Alt WINS: leave blank
o Press ok then Next button
o Access point name: internet
o Press Finish button
o Make sure that under the Connection listings box it says When dialing: Use 'O2 IRL GPRS WAP'
o If not hold the stylus on O2 IRL GPRS WAP in the list and from the dropdown menu choose Always Dial (other options are Delete and Connect)
On first connection user may be asked for the following:
o Username: gprs
o Password: gprs (tick option for save password if you wish)
o Domain: leave blank
But still can’t connect to GPRS. It’s always says :
Cannot Connect:
Dialed: internet
The answering modem has disconnected…….
Does someone knows what to do?
