Hello chaps,

I've been trying for ages now to pair up my TomTom 530 with my O2 XDA Orbit 2. The connection is always successful, but there is no wireless connection available, and as such I cannot connect to the Plus Services TomTom offer, like Traffic, etc.

I've found the stuff about DUN, and how it isn't on the device. I've installed the WM6_DUN zip file found elsewhere, I've resetted, but still no joy. I've tried every combination. Do you have to enable DUN or something?

Any pointers would be gratefully received!

Try re-installing the DUN CAB file and run it from Windows Explorer, instead of resetting the phone with the stylus press and hold the power button for quite a few seconds, when the phone prompts about turning off and loosing data simply answer Yes, it will re-boot and this is a far more reliable method to ensure a CAB file change remains installed to the device from what I have found on a number of devices.
My Orbit-II and TT 930 work together for data so it is possible to get it working doing this - Mike

Thanks for the prompt reply. I've done exactly what you said, and still the TT530 says "The following features were found: Hands-free calling, Phonebook". No Wireless Connection. I've tried it a couple of times, the first time with a HSDPA connection in progress, and then without. Neither worked.

Can you think of anything else I might be doing wrong?

Cheers, and thanks again.

well, I fixed it... not sure how though. I reverted to an older backup I had some months ago, installed the WM6_DUN dlls seen elsewhere, and it just worked!

I thought i'd write on here about this to complete the thread.

Cheers.
