I have an ODBLink MX adapter for my car that has an auto sleep and wake function. The only way it will connect when I get in the car is to unlock the phone for a few seconds and turn it back off. If I leave the phone in my pocket and don't go through the lock screen it won't automatically connect. Any tips? Thanks.

Have you tried adding it as a trusted device?

Adapter should wake up when you turn ignition on and CAN bus becomes active. I run Android N DP4. It has occasional issues with BT. Reboot clears it.:)
