I'm getting errors when doing the OTA for 4.4.1 on flo after flashing the stock KRT16S framework-res from the OP ("framework-res.apk has unexpected contents")

Any way to fix this aside from flashing the factory images?

Try flashing the system.img ;) (edit: should read better before I answer)

I am also having this issue. It appears the stock framework zip is not correct as the framework it contains is not the stock framework-res.apk from KRT16S on the Nexus 7 flo. If anyone with the Nexus 7 2013 WiFi who has not flashed this mod could upload their stock framework-res.apk a working zip could be made (or people could push that framework-res.apk with adb).

Edit: I have flashed the system.img from the KRT16S factory image on my device to get around this issue but before I flash the update I have decided to make things easier for other users. I have extracted the framework-res.apk from my now stock system partition and can confirm it does indeed have a different md5sum to the one included in the "stock" zip in the OP. I shall try and produce a corrected flashable zip using the actual stock apk.

Edit 2: Uploading now!

Here you go! I have replaced the framework-res.apk in the 'stockfloKRT16S' zip with the one from extracted from the factory image. If you want the stock framework for KRT16S on the flo use this one instead of the one currently in the OP as that one will not pass the system verification of the 4.1.1 KOT49E OTA but this one will.

Thanks for the upload but I tried downloading it and it gives me a 404 Error. If you can re-upload it, that'd be great. thanks.

That's strange. Its uploaded to XDA as an attachment so it should be fine. I just tried downloading it myself now and it worked fine. Try again and let me know if you still can't download it for some reason in which case I'll upload to a mirror. I suspect it was just a temporary server error.

It works and now I'm running 4.4.1. I think you were right, just a temporary server error. :)

Hi...
I have flashed modified framework-res.apk to get translucent bars.. Now don't I get ota 4.4.1?

That is correct. You may still receive the OTA but it will not flash as it verifies /system is 100% stock before installing. You'll need to flash the stock framework back first.

I'm not sure about the stock zip for LTE version (deb) but for the wifi model (flo) the stock zip wasn't actually the exact stock framework and so it still failed the verification.

If you're using the flo just flash the zip I posted a couple of posts above and then either wait for the 4.4.1 OTA or download the OTA zip and flash it. If you have the LTE model you can try using the stock framework zip in the OP but I have no idea of that will work with the update as I haven't tested it since I don't have one. If it doesn't work as it fails the verification, I'm happy to create a new stock framework zip for the LTE model as I did with the flo but this may not be necessary.
