OCR in app switcher?

Coming from the Pixel 2XL, the app switcher / task manager had OCR so you could highlight text and copy it from there. Was super useful for getting snippets from Twitter and even images. I thought this was a feature of Android 10 but I guess not. Anyone know if I'm missing a setting or something?

I really miss that pixel launcher feature too.. I'll dig and if find any info post here..
