I also live in India I'm using the last Verizon firmware and I don't have any issue with my JIO simcard.Anyone can help me? I am staying in India. I have imported S7 edge SM-G935v. It is now with android 7.0 naught. But it has Verizon bloatware, Verizon apps, Verizon boot up logo. It shows some card not from Verizon when I use local GSM sim card in india. Calls, messages work fine. Data is not working.
How to use firmware which is open to any GSM card and without Verizon bloatware?
If I flash g935u firmware, Will it be free from all Verizon bloatware? PLEASE HELP.
Can you please share jio apn settings? I will try it.I also live in India I'm using the last Verizon firmware and I don't have any issue with my JIO simcard.
Have you tried to configure the APN?
To remove Verizon bloatware and apps you can use "Package Disabler Pro".
You Can Flash Back to Marshmallow, but you will have to download the PIT file for your phone. Click on the PIT tab in Odin (READ the warning and decide whether or not to proceed) then go back to first tab of Odin and put all 4 files from your MM build there and hit start. Without the PIT file you will ONLY get one of 2 results Odin error message, or a boot loop (Both of which can be fixed with the PIT file).Should be able to
Flash "U" firmware,i am using that only. i also have a s7 verizon unlocked.using in Delhi.I also live in India I'm using the last Verizon firmware and I don't have any issue with my JIO simcard.

Rooting creates a crash loop. Phone boots after odin flashing first root file, but crashes before you can get to flashfire to finish rooting. Same Over and over again. It will take some more versed on Samsung than me to fix this. Stock Verizon Nougat will root fine if it helps (even maintains fingerprint scanner after root which is a problem with U Nougat Roms.)Well, since support on the other thread stopped I figured i would start this one up with the release of Nougat.
1: Download the file and extract contents.
1A: Make sure you have the drivers properly installed!
2: Place the BL file in the BL slot, AP file in the AP slot, CP in the CP slot, and CSC in the CSC slot and wait for it to verify the files.
3:Turn off phone and reboot into download mode (volume down, home and power button) then plug into computer.
4:Click start and wait for it to finish.
After this you should be on the latest release.
