Need some help here. Tried to use this file in 3.09 and it failed. Now phone is borked and nothing will flash in odin. Everything fails. I was on mk2 rooted and needed to go back to stock. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

EDIT: After many tries and different cables and different usb ports and flashing PIT file I got it to go through.

I had tried Kies. After the first Odin failure, Kies wouldn't see the device. That's when I posted because I knew it wasn't a driver issue.

16gb s4 pit

I noticed that this image has the PIT for 16GB S4, does anyone have the one for 32GB S4 I want to fully go back to OEM image but don't want to mess up my phone with a 16GB PIT

My understanding is that the PIT file has the partition information for the device storage so having a 16GB vs 32GB PIT would make a difference as 16GB would be unaccounted for at the point of partitioning.

Flashed via Heimdall. I can reboot but the system crashes and hangs left and right. Can't use WiFi. Tried factory resets and multiple attempts at re-flashes. Same results.

Anyone else have the same issues? Thoughts? Suggestions?

Am I doing something wrong? Everytime I download this file the checksum doesn't match. ..5 downloads each took over an hour...I downloaded at work and used an online checksum witch matched but when I moved to an usb drive to bring home and put on computer at home the same online checksum doesnt match. ...anyone have a good download? Another question if I odin and it fails do lose the previous version or does it just return to where you were before odining ( if thats a word) haha

Just wanted to confirm this DOES eliminate the "unlocked lock" symbol with the "Custom" underneath indicating the phone has been previously rooted. I had to run it twice on my GFs phone, but it for certain got rid of it with none of the triggers showing as tripped.

Alright this is really ticking me off. For whatever reason this stupid computer will not let ODIN run ANYTHING I try to put on my S4. Ive tried 3 different ports, in combo with 2 cords and get the same freaking result. I cant get my S4 to take the OTA for whatever stupid reason. it stalls out here every time.

"Complete(Write) operation failed" commonly occurs when you're trying to downgrade. That's weird, since you're flashing MJ7.

What does the phone say when the write fails? That's the detail that's needed to understand why the flash was rejected.

Why are you trying to re-flash? Why re-partition (the PIT file)?

I was just trying to upgrade it because the ota was failing. Just tried it again this morning and get this:

Strangest stuff ever. Would not do anything on ODIN, try it this morning and its up to here and still running(<ID:0/008> system.img.ext4). Furthest ive made it yet. Will report back if it works. Only thing different I did was disable my antivirus.
