yes but why do you want it? root, unlock, flash a stock l4 rom from recovery and **** any ota's!

My internal shows 2 gb free. Figured would lock and root again to wipe it all clean. And learn to restore from odin.used to my nexus was alot easier.

Since you can't over write the bootloader if you are on VRALL update, will your bootloader remain unlocked? I want to get back to completely stock VRALL locked bootloader for warranty replacement.

it will put you back on vraljb then u just check for update and dowload. you will be on stock ll4 locked and ready for warranty repair no worries

If your bootloader is unlocked you can overwrite it. So if you flash the completely stock jb image you will be locked and just as stated let it take the ota.

I did the alternate restore, but I am not getting any OTA notifications. Am I supposed to? I am on VRALJB with an unlocked bootloader (I guess).

Edit: Nevermind, I just got the OTA notification. After the update, will the bootloader be locked again?

I have tried downloading both restore files with bootloader still unlocked. Neither want to be extracted with 7zip? Seen several others post in the thread the same issue, but haven't seen anyone respond to why this error might be occurring?

I had to go to my laptop and I downloaded 7zip from C-net since 7zip site wasn't working. The version that their site had worked with the tz file with unlocked bootloader...finally. On my desktop was right clicking and trying to use 7zip that way vs. the program which was the way I was successful on laptop.

Not sure if that helps or not.

Thanks to imnuts for the files!!! I was able to restore my soft-bricked device.

O i downloaded the mirror and it wasn't zipped, i clicked on the regular download and didnt see the download for the note2, can someone send me a link or something...? And also i have odin3 1.83.. Does that matter? I never had any problems with odin and the s3

"Stock Rom" links are not zipped, "keeping the recovery" links are zipped. You could download any stock rom links (no zipped) and flash with Odin. If you download "keeping recovery rom" you need to unzip it first before you can flash.

Im on beans rom build 3 with locked bootloader(haven't had time to mess with phone until now), can someone post a link for the restore odin file i should use, cause this gps will not work, i got new phone today and need to send this one back

My odin keeps sayin that both the mirror odin restore files "md5 invalid", iv never had a problem with the s3

Worked fine for me just open odin put phone in download mode and put file in pda and bam stock phone again used this several times

Probably because you don't have a complete download. What's the file size? Does the file MD5 match the MD5 on either of the two mirrors?
