So is there a real better brand battery with thermal protection in the market?. By now I am considering going to HSC to do the replacement since all the batteries in the market are not a safe replacement.

So ordering from their site has been confirmed to be a good battery with temp sensor?
There's new tech on batteries, its safer than using thermistor's. I checked my amazon order and it said it was fulfilled by Amazon. That's how you know you have 100% genuine product. I told the company on Amazon selling Cameron Sino batteries there was no thermistor in the battery or a thermal protection circuit. They replied back with this....(view photos)

I also ordered mine from Amazon and it was fulfilled by Amazon. If this is the criteria for "genuine" then my battery fulfils it. I can't imagine anyone looking to bootleg batteries would bother forging "Cameron Sino" on their batteries - they'd be much more likely to make them look like genuine OEM kit. I think it's more likely there are different batches out there. I have had mine in my phone for some months now and got 5-6 hours screen on when it first went in. Reckon it's more likely now that I'd get 3-4. Not awful, but a demonstrable degradation in a relatively short period. (I must get around to seeing what Accubattery would make of it...)

People were worried about its safety and it not being real. Talk to company so we know what's going on with these after market batteries we put in our phone. I trust the Cameron Sino compared to OEM knock offs, all of those either don't have a thermistor or have one and is now outdated tech. I'm glad they were kind enough to explain that newer Cameron Sino don't use a thermistor. I have seen plenty reports of knock off Cameron Sino batteries they are respected company.

I'm afraid you're not totally correct.
Yes, "Fulfilled by Amazon" increases your chances of it being genuine.
But it's not anywhere close to being a sure thing. Not hardly.
Unless it's actually sold by Amazon, then you don't know.
Many companies sell through Amazon where Amazon does the shipping.
And this company just buys their product from China and never even see the product.
It's shipped to Amazon and then Amazon ships it to the buyers.

Eh whatever lol, I talked to them direct it was and I'm covered from a to z when fulfilled by amazon. I get what's intended or money back enough guarantee for me. My battery is safer than OEM...guess that's better than being Genuine!:D:

I think a primed neutron bomb would be safer than the junk they put in as OEM batteries!

I installed Accubattery last night and on my last charge cycle it gave me a battery health of 87%. That's after four months or so. Maybe I have a snide CS battery, maybe there are batches of varying quality, maybe they're just not as good as we'd hoped they'd be. I'll run this for a few more months then I think it's probably time for a new phone :(

I've been using my CS battery for a couple weeks now.

Accubattery shows health at 88% (yes, I wiped app data for Accubattery once I installed the CS battery). Disappointed, but still far better than my original battery.

I'm new to the Nexus 6P I bought a used one with the known battery issue and I found on eBay a real OEM one with the temperature chip in it. It's installed and working great it's just a bit more in price compared to the other (fakes) sold on eBay and my battery temp does change up and down when I check it through a app call Droid info

Here is the link it's sold and shipped in the USA.

Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/172835671310

Running Weta-ReStock 4.8.5-1.2 VS995 hyb

The thermistor is old tech they use IC's with resistors to regulate temperature now. IC provide a more linear curve for output voltage vs temperature. The current vs the temperature the IC is more stable also because of less power dissipation which leads to more accurate temp reading. Thermistors can self heat above ambient temperatures of environment resulting in temperature errors.

This isn't OEM. It looks very similar but the cable is thinner and there is no temp sensor.

I have tried three different aftermarket batteries for this phone and they are all absolutely garbage.

One of them was the "oem" (not real oem) that looks legit but has no temp sensor. This one had great battery life (100% health on accubattery) but it would instant black screen shutoff if I took 1 or more hdr+ photos and would refuse to turn back on or respond in any way until I plugged it in.

The second one was a random no name battery and it started off with 84% battery health right off the start and the battery life was obviously garbage.

The one I have now is the Cameron sino I have read about in here, people claim it's good but it has the same issue as the no name one in that battery health brand new is crap. It doesn't even fully charge, it stops at 90% and says it's full and I need to unplug and plug it back in 3-5 times to force it to charge to 99%. It's sitting around 90% or ~3000mah and I only get 4 hours sot compared to the 5+ I was getting with my OEM battery.

You must have old batch or defective or fake. My Cameron Sino is full capacity and get upwards of 5+ SOT.

I got this battery after doing some research on which battery to buy to replace mine that was shutting down at random intervals and generally being a PITA. Since installing I have had great battery life and haven't had a single issue. Highly recommended.
