Do not forget that before we had plenty of fake Huawei batteries and the good and more expensive Cameron Sino so far perfect.

But now after several months....more stock Huawei batteries are dying and more spare batteries are appearing..so the story is different. I would try other batteries if the Cameron sinos are fake everywhere.

Well they or you are not obviously tech gurus, but I would have liked the manufacturer to be. And not send a message with some mumbling about "ICs and resistors" which I now see repeated too often here.
Your reply has nothing to do with what I said about missing temp sensor on CS batteries.

Sorry if this is bad for your business, but I feel it is important to bring these flaws into attention.
You don't understand what IC's do LOL! Your obviously need to brush up on your reading. Never said I was a tech guru. I come to this site for advice from other people and to try and give. And who said anything about business? You mad bro?

The date code is old on the picture, but if it comes with the fat ribbon, and OEM protection circuitry, It's probably a good choice. I might purchase one of these to check it out, even if it's old stock. The seller's picture is pointing to the thermal breaker, the temp sensor is there too, on the right side. No magic "New tech" circuitry because everyone knows thermistor's are obsolete, NOT!

Good luck Man!

That response is complete nonsense and clearly written by someone that has no clue about electronics.

Resistors that "detect situations" and "send signals"? LOL.

Their "resistor controlling the temperature" must be the one in place of thermistor spoofing constant 30 degC temp to phone. That is, if not straight on dangerous, at least very bad for the battery, as phone needs to know battery's temperature to set proper charging current or prevent charging altogether!

I can only suggest to avoid these Crap Sino at all costs.

/EE rant

PS.
I installed the cell from CS battery using protection circuit from the original battery so I get proper protection functions and temp readings. Cell was physically smaller than original as noted above, which already means it has less capacity. Now after 14 session Accubattery shows 2974 mAh capacity for 86% health. Great. Still not recommended.
Good job!
My bet is these newer Chicken S*** batteries are genuine CS, and They are only 3000 mAh, made as cheaply as they could get away with.

I received my LOSONCOER the other day. It looks exactly like my CS (same thin ribbon cable, etc) same except for the label on the battery - the model number may also have been different. Same weight of 44oz. I'll post a pic when I get home

I'm not confident it'll be any better.

I know Iceburn1 really likes his CS (and is trying to become a salesman for the company /s), but it appears their new stock is now garbage like the rest of the batteries out there. I'm at 89% battery health with mine after a month of use - I never got above 90%. At least it hasn't degraded...

I didn't think anything of it at the time, but now that you mention it, this happened to me the other day too. I was just surfing the net and my phone turned off at like 50% battery. It wouldn't turn on again until I plugged it in. After I was booted up, I unplugged and everything was normal again.

TLDR, the CS batteries are no longer worth the price premium.
That's for sure dude!
I like how they spell battery "BATTER" on their product picture :) Dang, I will hold off on getting one of these.

I actually have this one on order, I'll post my findings when I receive it. Been now 10 days in shipping.

Good job!

Yeah, they probably changed their supplier and now on come with smaller capacity cells and crappy protection.

Here are some pics of the LOSONCOER I received from AliExpress. Like I mentioned before, same weight and thin cable as the CS. I don't have enough confidence that it'll be better to warrant opening up my 6P again until my CS battery really starts degrading.

I'm new to 6P got it off of swappa! After reading thread I would go with Cameron Sino, instead of dangerous copy cats or OEM that will only have same problem.

It's there any reason why you're trolling everyone? This thread ran smooth for quite a while. Then few pages back you started in for no real reason. There's really no sense in it.
I'm confused giving advice and getting answers from a company is trolling then I guess Im at wrong site? Maybe you should reread last few pages.

You're right. I reread and I apologize. You've been nothing but helpful. I just am pointing out that the attitude is a bit much for a thread about batteries. I just don't see that it's necessary. But you do you. No worries.

Any battery with thermistor is outdated and I wouldn't want outdated tech. Its funny when people don't read this thread. Gd luck bro!

You must have fake one lol

No sales man lol you're just mad you got a bootleg. Its OK it happens to people who buy from shady sources.

Its roll of the dice! Good luck on quest for decent battery.

My new used 6P had the early shut-down issue.
I stopped using my cheap USB 2.0 charger with the Pixel 2.0 to 3.0 converter.
And started using ONLY the stock 6P charger.
It's been a couple weeks now and I haven't had the early shut down issue since.

Flipping battery capacity is toast though and a replacement is on the menu.

Hi i wanna know about any insight about these batteries
https://m.aliexpress.com/s/item/866594000.html?spm=a2g0n.search-cache.0.0.149c7cdaQopUEu

You guys suggest cameron sino but i cant find someone ships that battery in my country without having a hefty shipping fee. Thanks. Chinese knock offs are the only thing i can get my hands on and find
Pretty much all the batteries on the market are looking like they are coming from the same crappy source. (Cameron Sino, LOSONCOER 4000mAh...)
Thin Ribbon cable, that is too long
Fake temperature sensing, temp doesn't raise while charging
No thermal breaker, cheap IC.
At least they don't misspell "Battery" on the HSABAT HB416683ECW 4000mAh ;)
If you buy one of these, please weigh it (similar ones are 44grams and battery app's report estimated 3200mAH), report back here so others can decide better.

Good luck ;)
