Why aren't there hard cases for this phone?
My guess is because the phone is being advertised as being pretty resilient against normal abuse, like drops, dings, etc. That, and that its made of metal.

I'm thinking that case companies are figuring that the phone can already withstand drops, so all it needs is scratch protection and many a little extra grip in the hand.

^That. I'm probably going to do whatever I can find that doesn't add much bulk but keeps the screen and cameras off of surfaces. Other than that, I just want to protect it from scrapes and minor dings. I really like this phone bare but you never know.

I ordered the Poetic Affinity case (http://www.poeticcases.com/affinity-blackclear-for-lg-v20) and have it on my phone now. It's really grippy and feels like a tank, but I feel it may be too big. This is already a big phone and seems really durable, so I think this may be too much case. I was looking at the Ringke Onyx, but I worried that they may have the same issue. I have a ringke fusion on the way. I would post photos, but this is my only phone at the moment.

Please post impressions of the ringke onyx when you guys get them regarding how bulky they make the phone. Thanks!

I got this (one each in Black & Frosted Black) :
https://www.amazon.com/HJ-Power-Ver...ile,+U.S.+Cellular)--Soft+TPU+SKIN+Case+Black

It's thin, but, gives ample protection,as good as TPU can.
It has cutouts for the volume buttons,so,even less bulk there.
You may find similar on e-Bay,for a bit less $$,if you're interested.........

I do feel that all this phone needs is something to keep the screen from hitting anything and the camera lens and that a TPU case would be all it needs. I love how the thing looks out of a case, but the aluminum is just a bit too slick and I don't want to risk marring my pretty new phone, durable or not.
