I've read on here that 8.1 is locked I was trying dialer codes and ran across a app that showed oem-specific info/Settings disabled. How would one enable this hidden setting? Dialer codes aren't really working on my phone.

The ability to change APN settings so Verizon service won't work unless flashing 8.1 without the -w in fastboot.
I wonder if that is a Verizon only issue, I took the OTA since my device is locked, I have TMO, and I can change the apn, add new ones.
It seems to be a Verizon only issue, at least from the data I've found.
