My upgrade is coming in a few weeks and I don't know if I should go to the S4 or Note2...Any suggestions?

Another choice would be to sit on it a bit and see what the upcoming Note 3 brings. My upgrade is coming in a few weeks and I don't know if I should go to the S4 or Note2...Any suggestions?
Metal is not good. This phone was designed for a plastic body unlike the HTC One. Metal backs will kill your signal strength. I've seen reviews in the accessories section where dbm went from the -70's to over -100 from the metal backs.I have a small crack on my battery cover. It's bizarre. It looks like shattered glass. I'm not sure if I want OEM or custom/metal.

So I pulled my back off to observe the signal strength. My battery cover really seems like just a flimsy piece of plastic and I noticed no change in signal strength. Is it possible they switched to plastic? I just got this device this month.Metal is not good. This phone was designed for a plastic body unlike the HTC One. I was talking about the person I quoted. They said they might want a custom/metal battery cover. This phone wasn't designed for metal to be on it. But the HTC One is, it has the plastic in between the frame and antennas placed accordingly. So I pulled my back off to observe the signal strength. (Edit) I just realized you were talking about the HTC One
Lol, oh the things that go on in this forum. Having a bad day? Let me cheer you up. I called Sprint for their opinion. The rep said the metal increases the signal & tried to explain to me how the metal is like a magnet that picks up signals. If that was reallly true, everyone & their mom would have metal battery covers. There's a rep there that knows a few things about rom, rooting & mods. I really hope that wasn't him lol. I've seen hit & miss reviews on ebay. So that's a no to the metal. Then, there's Veriiiizon (insert Mean Girls tone here) with their fancy spancy "custom" S4s. Pfft. All I want is a new battery cover, preferably pinkI was talking about the person I quoted. They said they might want a custom/metal battery cover. This phone wasn't designed for metal to be on it. I wasnt being rude at all, or having a bad day. You must have misread my statement. I love how things get interpreted in people's minds on the Internet. Lol noooo, I wasn't implying you having a bad day or being rude. When I said the bad day thing, I meant that for anyone, because what the Sprint guy said probably would've made Grumpy Cat even laugh. You weren't rude, at all. It was just for sh*ts & giggles lol it was just intended for a good laugh, no implications.I wasnt being rude at all, or having a bad day. I like this idea. I always wondered why this wasn't something that the carriers could do themselves.Keep your eyes out for a kill switch in the next ota update:http://blog.laptopmag.com/samsung-kill-switch-feature

There's a nifty idea. You would think they would've included it with Knox, but better late than never. I was just watching something on the news about thieves just swiping a device near laptop bags or purses for cell phone data & credit cards. I couldn't believe how fast it happens, too. I need to get myself on of those toys lol. Everything is on my phone, so I look forward to seeing more about this.Keep your eyes out for a kill switch in the next ota update:http://blog.laptopmag.com/samsung-kill-switch-feature
