kyrillos is a developer on galaxy ace 2 forum. My previous phone was 's advance' which uses same chipset as ace 2.
Back in those days we hoped he would work on 'S advance'.
By the way @kyrillos13 do you still do dev stuff ?
It will be really good to have more and more devs for s4 mini.

i saw Kyrillos before ........ on galaxy NAOS !!!!! terrible device !!!!!! terrific...... :laugh:

and he have done fabulous roms .....the best for this "strange" device .....

i think that he "can" develop ! :angel:

Well i am learning programming in university atm. I stopped "developing" roms, because on s4 mini i don't need to do it. Arco's work for s4 mini is terrific and i am having a good time with CyanogenMod.

yes ! arco is a real king ......
it's a pity that you don't have spent time to develop for S4 mini ... all this "knowledge" inside you, lost ....... :silly:
==> i really hoped that you are interrested by the "challenge" to make an unofficial Lollipop 5.1 for S4 mini ( and for XDA ,for the comunnauty...for the world !!! for honor !!!!! :victory ==> because when i saw you on Galaxy NAOS section ,you have a real full energy inside you ! a big wish and love on development !!!!!!



with CM12.1 ,i think that it's still too early because always on development ...
i don't like at all their new "politic" (always merge ,change ,abandon.....too many changes !!! never a "real" finished full stable rom ) , there always have sames buggs ,same persistent problems ...and when there are fixes "one days" ( not ASAP ,sometime it's long ) ,there are news problems too (because many changes ...)

At this time i think that the "best" ( stability ) custom Lollipop maybe is the Sonic SOKP .... :good:

generaly ,the others customs : they take AOSP base ,they take parts of CM and others teams who have develloped options ....they improve all buggs with hard work.....AND ENJOY !!! much better "stable" roms,much more quickly !!!!!!

Anyone looking forward to S6 Mini ?
I would love to use my s4 mini forever but i am facing some battery life issues with it over last 2 months.
So this December I will sell this phone
Not sure what to buy. Hoping S6 Mini will be very powerfull unlike the s5 mini [which was weaker that s4 mini]
I got addicted to factory unlocked bootloaders on samsung, ODIN , Sammobile etc.
So cannot look beyond samsung.
Anyway what do u guys think ? Are u moving on to newer phones ?

If they use exynos, then i wish they use the 7xxx series. It is built on that FF+ 14nm process.
One thing for sure, battery on s6 mini will be smaller than usual. 2300 or 2400 mAh maybe.
So it is better to use power efficient chips. Qualcomm midrange chips are bad now.
They use the old 28nm process. Like sd615, sd410 etc.
If the phone performs nicely, then there is no need for custom roms. Root and recovery
will be good enough.

But that device spotted on GFX bench was later supposed to be a galaxy flip-type smartphone.
Anyway if s6 mini is indeed as powerful as rumours suggest, it will be awesome.

Exactly. For a midrange phone that even samsung forgot its existence, getting such a lengthy custom rom support is incredible.
@arco68 Big brother please tell me what phone will u buy after s4 mini I am definitely going to get that...
Also thanks to other developers.. @F4k , @semdoc , @alexax66 . They are doing an amazing job without much reward, while fat guys at
samsung eat our money and deny updates

Alexax have announced a good kernel for customs LP ,too !

It's sure that developers (principaly Samsung !!! LOL ! ) are "essential" for best light optimised and updated android experience ,it's very important.... otherwise we would stay with poor 4.4.2 stock....heavy firmware ,poor battery-life ,no confidentiality , sometime heat......and scheduled for to destroy the phone !

There are very good/stable custom roms running 5.1

Have a look and get flashing mate.

I've had my device for 2 years now and no plans yet to move on as long as the support from these fantastic devs keeps coming
