What is the best rom for the Evo Shift? Just wondering, I just won a bid on ebay for one. Also, is there and android 4.2, links please!! 
There are several very good ROMs for the Shift. Sense wise I recomend Supreme Sense XII or StockMod. They're both gb. If you want jb, JellyBelly is great as is Evervolv.

Grrr.. I think I need a new usb cable to work with this phone. I've tried the couple I have and I can only get my laptop to recognize it using one of them and only if it is plugged into a certain usb port on the laptop(1 out of 3). And it still doesn't recognize it everytime I plug it in and freezes up sometimes if it is recognized.
Do you have the Samsung Drivers installed? I forgot to mention that step... A good USB cable is always good to have tho.
Do you have a gs3 now BigSplit? If so I've read that a lot of people on it prefer blackberry USB cords. Something about them supposedly works better with the gs3.
Yeah blackberry cables are more heavy duty and have tended to work better fit people, never personally tested myself though
Yeah, I have the drivers installed. I can get it to work, its only on a specific usb port and with a specific cord. Also, thanks for the help. I'm sure I'll have more questions sooner or later.
nah, s2.. I wasn't going to upgrade phones at all until my contracts is up but this was given to me so I said why not have something new to play with for the next few months while I wait out my contract.
