I wish microsoft made an office suite for linux.
All the alternatives don't really cut it especially when it comes to embedded graphs/graphics

Yeah, same here :\
Openoffice is great and all but I'm used to all the features of Office and shortcuts, as well as the interface being nice. But apparently Microsoft wont be releasing any equivalent suite for Linux, so the best bet is to just go with Office for windows and pair it with Wine

I have been having problems with unresponsiveness but no FCs
Anyway since I posted about this I've found that using the Chrome from the Developer channel is MUCH more stable than the one Google calls "stable"
Anyway just look up "chrome dev channel" and it should be the first link, then download the one that says "dev channel for windows"
Since switching to this on both of my computers (laptop and desktop) I've rarely experienced unresponsiveness and FCing even less than that

Just wanted to let everyone know if they're having problems with Chrome too, nothing else I found really worked

Don't hold your breath lol

They're working on an android app for ms office 2013 lol I dunno about its usefullness but its a start.
I hope they realize that linux users like myself (students) would gladly pay for an office suite on linux.
Openoffice works for me when I just need to write up an essay and print it, but once I want to add in equations and graphs and what not it becomes nearly impossible to make it display right on msword, or vice versa.
Mla formatting never sticks with openoffice for me lol
I've tried running office in wine but that just gave me too much trouble when trying to submit essays saved in office through wine on blackboard. The filesize was always some weird number like 5kb but it always opened fine on msword running in windows, and when saved again in that office the file size would change to like 17kb. So now I just virtualize or use windows natively. I'm just rambling now lol

I have never owned a device that has a nonremovable battery. Out of curiosity, what do you do when it freezes up?
Hate to say it because I'm an HTC fan still. This was one of the reasons I did not wait when my Shift died. I need a removable battery. Plus free is always a great price. But the EVO 4G LTE is a BA Device.
