Hi could you provide some further information such as MID/CID so one could lead you to the correct FW and backups for your device?

The Only info i kept was
software 1.54.401.10
htc sense 6.0
kernel 3.4.0.g0c47a10 [email protected] #1 smp preempt
baseband 1.16.2133156.VAIsg_20 18m.4096.07l
build number 1.54.401.10 CL325784 Release-key

I believe this is the custom ROM build version no.

Can you get this info in fastboot mode, run command

fastboot getvar mid

fastboot getvar cid

CID/MID is the important info and what is the hboot no. written on bootloader.

If he kept this Info as he's writing I guessed it was the data if the original ROM..

Thanks! A getvar mid/cid would be better of course.

Yeah ... just want to make sure.
If it is 1.54.401.10 then I can give him the direct link to the needed backup and recovery (Which I posted in the (now closed) stock nandroid backup thread too)

You're correct. It's absolutely good to make sure, so we don't lead him to a wrong thread/firmware.

Thanks! Sometimes I seem to be just thinking half the way and forget seeing the whole scheme.

Assuming your info is correct as you don't give the CID/MID as I mentioned before,
here is my TWRP backup for 1.54.401.10

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=54564526&postcount=1471

Stock Recovery : http://sourceforge.net/projects/htconem8/files/Recovery/1.54.401.10_recovery.img/download

I guess you know how to do backup and restore with TWRP. If you don't have one, you can get the one that I'm using in the link in my sig.

Basic thing to do is :
1. extract the backup on your PC
2. transfer the backup folder to your sdcard or external_sd depending where your TWRP backup folder is.
3. boot to recovery and restore the backup

After backup successful, you'll be notify of an OTA update. Before you can do the update, you need :

1. reboot to bootloader
2. flash the stock recovery that I linked above
3. reboot
4. do the OTA

EDIT : corrected link for the recovery

I don't give any firmware.zip

If you mean the backup.zip, you don't install it, you use the restore function on the TWRP. Read the Basic thing to do is : again.
