question

Here offical ICS beta rom for RAY with fully fonctionality...

Hi, I have a question, if I install this rom, when he leaves the finished rom official "Sony Ericsson PC Companion" will recognize my phone and I can then updated by any, or will I have to put the rom apart as is this case. and if I notice a lot of mistakes in this beta, I guess I can return me to the official 2.3.4 rom.
sorry for my English: (

If you are unlocked your phone you can install this update also you can install final relase with pc companion after relocking your phone.Test point avoids your warranty permanently because of removing the sticker.Unlocking then relocking can be more safely than testpoint. Some services can accept warranty because of pc compnion doesnt allerting "software changed!".Depedns on your services on your country.

Depends on how you remove the stickers though, in my country, the stickers is not located there so it's ok ;)

+1 :D

hot boot CWM... fastboot boot "kernel of your choice"

than no need to reflash the ICS stock kernel if you are coming from SONY ICS Beta

Sorry İ decided immidiately to share :) and İ couldt be sure if i copy system and data folder in a signed rom zip will be enough?

Sent from my ST18i using XDA App

not really, It's much different for a complete ROM update.zip compare with patch & updater.
use the template bellow, copy extracted system.img files using 7zip (open the zip using 7zip & use click & drag), then your build ROM should be run properly.
-edit the updater.script file, put your signature or whatever you like
-please analyze the template structure for future reference (preroot & busybox)
-build.prop inside already add BT & wifi lines, add more tweaks that you like.

to extract system.img, put system.img in the same folder as aiup.exe, run in DOS command shell
    Code:
    aiup system.img 4096 c:\system
in that way we can maintain 100% stock files

Sir, i have a xperia Ray with CWM from here
    http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1444841
and unlocked bootloader from official method, I'm new at flashing ROM, can I have steps installing the v4 of this ICS beta? and also, how can I remove the adreno video driver by the remove.zip, do I have to enter fastboot?

    if you have
    - unlock bootloader
    - root access
    - CWM installed

then you good to go (i assume it is nandroid backup)
    - download v4 rom and extract in your sdcard
    - download remove.zip and put in your sdcard
    - restart and boot into CWM (press volume down at Sony logo)
    - goto > backup > restore > [shud have something in list]
    - once finished, boot it up.
    - then reboot, and boot into CWM again
    - choose install zip file
    - select remove.zip (located in your sdcard)
    - reboot.
    - done

I removed adreno drivers. Same problem... Actually I've tried step by step v3, v4+adreno, v4-adreno. Flash player won't work on any of these.

remove chrome beta! I removed it via the rom toolbox and noticed flash started to to work in the browser
