Yes. Clean Flashed. Didn't format though. Could that be any issue? Everything is ok except for the occasional lag/screen freeze.

Battery backup is great I think, getting nearly 7hrs SOT with 2hr+ CODM gaming in a replaced battery. It's 6hr40min with gaming (97%>3%). It'll definitely go beyond 7hr without gaming. I'll try posting maximum battery backup I get.

I didn't face any screen freeze when I used though.

it says updater process ended with signal 4

This means that other features will be added in next versions of this Rom. When these updates come, do we need to reflash everything by wiping cache which deletes the previously installed apps or its just like updating an app?.....My main concern is, will the installed apps on the phone be removed when we update to next version?

Just remember to wipe EVERYTHING first, and after the first setup flash the global firmware with persist.img and everything works as good as possible!

Rom is very stable & smooth, ram management is very good, getting HD volte calls on jio, heavy games like grid autosport working without a glitch (no artefacts and stuttering), default gcam camera has zero issues with all modes working.

Kudos to the developer for making a gem like this for devices as old as this.

It depends
If there are too much changes you need to do clean flash
Else dirty flash would be fine

Most of the apps have syncing features now a days. Very few needs manual backup option. You can make backup of passwords, bookmarks, sms, contacts and even full app backup by various third party apps and then copy the backup to external storage or pc. It's a little annoying to do but It's always better to completely erase and start fresh each time you install a new rom.

Vince is old hardware, so some stuttering is expected but in developer options i have seen that window animation scale and animator duration scale is 0.7 & 0.8, making that to the default value of 1.0x makes the UI very smooth. you can enable developer options by going to about phone in settings and multiple taps to build number, then go to system in settings, bottom you will find the dev menu.

Those are not the issue. I actually turn animations off. That provides better performance. This A12 build was the first and those issues are expected. I hope to get a better version in the update (It is still the best A12 rom for vince at this moment and pretty smooth n stable except for occasional system.ui freezing).

I have a feature request to the developer. Please add a QS toggle for 2G-3G-4G. That is a great battery saving feature. It's better to stay in 2G most of the time except for browsing using mobile data. That QS toggle helps a lot to quickly switch the network mode. The rom is already the best A12 for vince but It'll be really awesome if you can add this in next update.

I find more bugs, stuttering and battery drain in last official MIUI 11 than this ASOP A12 ROM

Miui has become garbage. I think 99% issues on xiaomi mobiles are because of Miui now a days. I also have a note 10 pro. The new set had absolutely poop performance which made me switch to LineageOS within 2 months of buying. For vince best A11 Rom was CherishOS v2.2.5 and Resurrection Remix based on A10.

Grid autosport has no issues with HD textures, no stuttering or hangups, framerate is also smooth.
