Nope... none that I could find. It's in there for Google Assistant and assisting with screen rotation etc. but not as an unlock option.

Don't let that deter you though... this seems to be a solid ROM with smooth animations and great battery life.

EDIT: I just wish there was a "smart charging" option such as a user-defined upper/lower charge limit so I can extend my battery life and leave it plugged in without it sitting at 100% all the time. (I know I could use Magisk but I don't want to root it and start having banking apps complaining about root etc.)

I'm about to buy this phone, does the proximity sensor (the sensor which turns off the screen during calls and whatsapp messages) work correctly on custom roms?

TWRP should still be able to backup internal storage though, right? I'm thinking...
  1. Backup internal storage
  2. Clean flash
  3. Restore internal storage
...or have I missed something? Unless you've flashed Magisk or made any other system changes(?) Either way you could still make a FULL backup... try it out and restore if needed.

I'm worried about Vantom kernel as the uptime I get from the v1.1 is fantastic!

Nope, you cant mount data so you can't back it up either.
Therefore I guess I have to do the whole thing again since I didn't know I had to go through this.
I'll just switch back to xiaomi.eu, until twrp fully supports android 12.

Just checked and you're right... strange - I could have sworn I had done this before. I also just tried flashing back to v3.5.8 and the same issue. Then thought I'd be clever and try OrangeFox - which sent me in a bootloop and couldn't get out. Fortunately I had my laptop so could quickly fastboot back to TWRP :)

Yeah I think it might be worth the wait until twrp can decrypt android 12 roms.

I just (dirty) flashed it now without any problems. I thought you had trouble trying to flash it, but you don't need to mount the internal storage to flash this update. Just flash and wipe dalvik/cache afterwards before rebooting. Internal storage is preserved.

EDIT: Charging is back to "slowly charging" again instead of "turbo charging" which I suspect may be the new kernel change. It charged around 45% (from 39% to 84%) in 45mins while not being used.

Thats a bit confusing when i started to flash it, twrp couldn't do it since, It cannot mount any internal partition.

It's better you use a computer to dirty flash. Enter TWRP go to adcanced / adb sideload connect via usb and start Adb.
In CMD, type adb sideload "nameofthefileyouwantoflash".
If you search the forum you'll find that recocerys are unable at the moment to decrypt data partition, that's the reason why you are facing the problem.

No matter what apps I try. Even GCam sucks. No apps can use 108MP camera. Low light performance is even worse seems like pictures taken on a 2014 device. Do I need to install extra libraries? I tried install ANX camera but it thrown my phone in bootloop so had to get rid of that. But please suggest how to improve camera performance.
