Yeah I did last night http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=26484201&postcount=23

Just a bit of a ball ache though :p

Also its pointless doing a CMW backup if you can't use it :p

Build 2 is giving me the same issues with Wifi :(

Will try fix now.

Command in the OP fixed Wifi. I know performance tweaks will come later but my tab seems very sluggish. Not sure if its meant to work yet but GPS fails to lock on.

Testing more now.

Things I've found:

  • GPS
  • Camera FCs on me
  • Wifi - Though fixed through OP

Are you sure you're using Build 2?
Build date in About tablet should be May 24 17:23:59 CEST

Out of curiosity OP, can you update the title of the thread with the date when you update the build?

Thank you!

Hey Xplod, I was wondering if you would mind if I posted some links to your CM9 and CWM on Transformer forums and phandroid forums.

And if you also didn't mind I was going to submit a "tip" to phandroid on the TF300 recovery you made to spread the word on the ability to develop for this beast!

You have done some amazing/fast work here and I can say we are all thankful.

Build 2 Update:

  • GPS fails to lock
  • My keyboard is set to UK but when I type @ on my dock I get " so its using the American settings even though its set to the UK.

Not sure if your looking for any bugs but..
On the dock keyboard, all the top buttons from wifi-settings dont work. Except the internet key.

All others do nothing, which sux when you get used to that settings key lol

Very happy about this. I dont see dual pane view which is one thing I was looking forward to.

But thank you.

Hey Folks! I have a YouTube Channel where I post ROM overviews for the LG G2x and the HTC Sensation. I recently bought me a TF300 and loving it so far! So I'll use this Post for my videos and I hope you like them!

:cool:

Thanks, looking forward to the videos. Do you also do how to videos, or just reviews?

Nevermind: I should have just looked at the youtube page and browsed a bit.

Amazing work, but strangely I miss the Asus weather widget... also, I'm guessing the performance modes are now obsolete?
Thanks again for your wonderful (and speedy) work

As said in op, I don't have a dock so I can't test this... I'll eventually see if there is data you can get me.

What dual pane view?

    CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.0 (ICS), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    Code:
    #include
    /*
     * Your warranty is now void.
     *
     * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
     * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
     * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
     * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
     * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
     *
     * Submitting bug reports on nightly builds is the leading
     * cause of male impotence.
     */

    CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

    DO NOT FLASH THE RECOVERY FROM ROM MANAGER. IT IS THE ONE FROM TF201 AND WILL BRICK YOUR TABLET.
    You're warned.

    Google Apps:
    http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-ics-20120429-signed.zip

    Nightlies:
    http://get.cm/?device=tf300t

    First installation :
    1) Unlock your device, and install CWM recovery : http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1668173
    2) Push the update zip to your internal memory
    3) Reboot in recovery (Shutdown tablet, press Vol Down + Power, then press Vol Up when prompted)
    4) Make a backup
    5) Navigate to "Install zip from sdcard", "Choose zip from sdcard", and choose the update zip you previously pushed to your tablet
    5a) If you want Play Store, flash gapps now too (link above)
    6) Go back and Wipe data/cache
    7) Reboot

    Updating from previous build:
    1) Push update zip to /sdcard/
    2) Reboot in recovery
    3) Flash as above
    4) Reboot

    If any issue after updating, wipe data.

    TF300T has now moved to CyanogenMod nightlies. Grab them at http://get.cm/ ;)

    Nightlies and my experimental builds should be the same as I submitted my device tree, though I haven't yet tested them. Jenkins is the name of the build-bot, it's all my work behind the TF300T rom ;)
    8
    Poked Cyanogen himself to merge the vendor fix for nightlies. I'm sorry it takes so much time. Once this is done, audio, gps and camera will be fixed in the nightlies.
    7
    Still waiting on CMTeam to merge as mentioned before... If they don't rebuild the RC, I'll release an unofficial working one here
