I just upgraded to lollipop but my Note 3 has been stuck in boot for over 45 minutes, is this normal? If not is it safe to restart the phone? Or is there something else I can do to make it work.
Try to boot your phone in recovery ( vol up + power + home button combo )and factory reset your phone, that solved my bootloop [emoji4]

What I cannot understand is how is it possible that the Nordic countries version is apparently far more new (release "Pxxx") than any other European versions issued very recently as the Italian a few days ago and all of them versions "Gxxx"!

Hi guys, I'm from South Africa, still on KitKat, would really like to upgrade to Lollipop, I read this entire thread and have only 1 question...

Which one would you guys suggest I flash? Nordic, Italian, Saudi Arabia..?

Please help me out as I would also like to contribute to this thread and testing.

I flashed last night, rom is really fast, but battery usage is worrying me, draining a little too fast. Would a Factory Reset help..?

Also is it possible to root this version without tripping Knox..?
Disable in Aplication Unified Daemon Eu and everything will be fine :) with battery

I tried out the BOG4 from the United Arab Emirate and had Battery Drain issues. So I switched back to the Nordic ROM and everything is fine again. :)

Unfortunately I cannot agree, BOG4 is the best battery performer rom that I've tested.
The bluetooth issues some complain about, I have none.
The only problem I find is that wifi is a bit unstable and disconnected now and then for no reason.

@sherif-bakhoum Thanks for your feedback!
The OTA Update is still "N9005XXUGBOG2"? Because I had a lot of battery drain issues, even after waiting for one week for the usual "settle down". But it never happened - I had one day where the phone consumed three (!) completely charged batteries. Most interesting: the drainage is caused without tripping partial wakelocks or similar, it seems to happen even if the phone has a good "deep sleep" rate. Additionally I noticed that the phone runs very hot even on simple tasks like browsing the internet. Consequently, I could literally watch the battery percentage counter go down minute for minute.

So I performed a full wipe a few days ago and still it seems to drain the battery rather fast. I'd like to know if they are probably aware about this problem with BOG2 and updated only the problematic portion over OTA...?

Okay so I am running the Nordic LP Rom for a few days. Performance seems good and phone is fast. Ram usage is low, always around 1.2Gb's used. Battery life I hope will get better. Did disable the Unified Daemon and that seemed to help a lot.

Only wish I could root this sob without tripping Knox.

    • Put Lollipop ROM (TAR.MD5) in your SD Card (external SD recommended)
    • On Mobile Odin Pro, touch on "Open file ..." load the TAR.MD5 file and confirm
    • Then touch on "OTA / Update ZIP" and select the SuperSU Zip
    • Make sure "Enable EverRoot" box is UNCHECKED.
