If 6.2 won't boot as I and others have found, it would be nice if the OP would remove the 6.2 download.

It would save people a lot of farting around installing the latest 6.2 release, find it doesn't boot, search the thread and find it won't boot for anyone, go back and do another download, this time of 6.1 and install. Aaaaaaahhhhh.

Did a full wipe (dalvik, cache, system, data) flash bliss pop 6.2 marshmallow but it seems to take forever to boot up. I have not flashed gapps yet. Any ideas ?

Sent from my SM-N910C using XDA Free mobile app
It seems that 6.2 won't boot. Happy days downloading 6.1.

encrypting after flashing Bliss Roms

So far this ROM rock :D Thank you DEVS!

But I would like to try something, to encrypt my GN N7100 using this rom.
After some google-ing, it seems that I need to flash my "un-touched" boot.img back, encrypt and flash SU.

My question is that from which Android 6.0.1 factory image or boot.img should I get prior to Bliss and where?

Thank you for the coming help :)

No I'm trying to use Go Backup and I get that error. Do you know of a way to fix it?
Ok, first you need to understand that google has changed the way external storage behaves in Android marshmallow.
Only way apps are now able to write to sd-cards is via Document storage.

So, the developer of whatever app you are using, needs to update the app to explicitly ask for a permission to access the sd card via document storage. You can't do anything about it, until the app is updated to do so. It's the same way we need to setup Titanium backup on android 6.0 +.

You may try another app that asks for this permission. :)

Whenever I install offline .apk file, after few sec installing, a message, "unfortunately package installer has stopped". I think the apk's apps works fine, the apps did appear in drawer. I think it just the wrong message appear as it finished installing.
Also, would it be possible to change "preferred network type" into "LTE/CDMA or GSM or Auto", like older Android. I guess its help forcing my mobile network staying between 3G - H+. Right now it sometimes dropped to E, even G on bad day. I don't know if my network coverage is just that terrible or it has something to do with settings.

Been using this rom for few months now. Overall, I'm satisfied with it, just that network thing ruining it.

I am facing boot loops at first start up...
Waited for an hour but no gain...

Please help...
Same here, what's wrong with this rom? lol. It never worked for my N7100, seriously. Cleaned cache, data, system, everything, and installed gapps right after, takes more than half an hour and still stuck on boot loop. Without G Apps it would just restart every time, start a few up and keep doing the same thing over and over.

Verdict: Doesn't work.

Edit: HAHAHA, Just read a few pages back, 6.2 DOESN'T WORK/Boot, Please remove it and save us time.... >_>
And yes I can confirm like other users that 6.1 works fine, please remove the link to 6.2, it bricks the bootup and nothing more.
