Installation Method:
1. Download Firmware and Extract it to a folder
2. Download mfastboot v2 and Extract it into the same folder.
3. Reboot the phone into Bootloader
4. Run Following commands from the Command Prompt after cd-ing to the folder, one by one
If you do not wish to lock bootloader skip 4.1 and 4.3

Oh c'mon.
Previously I flashed hundreds of time stock firmware on my Electrify 2 without ounlocking the boot loader. And it worked. Can't believe qcom is so different in comparison to ti

The locked bootloader only allows the firmware it was build for. Subsequent updates on a locked bootloader have to be done through signed OTA. It's inconvenient, but imagine the waves of inexperienced first time flashers flooding the official support-forum, because they flashed the wrong version. Just have a look at the dev-section for this device here at xda. It's unbelievable.

This firmware can be upgraded with the locked bootloader, which can not be done is a downgrade, please edit the first post

Many thanks, I will try a dirty-flash and report my feedback here ;)

My device is already unlocked with root and recovery, so I should follow only points 4.2 and 4.4, right?
And a question: if I skip flashing the recovery in order to keep my custom recovery (TWRP), should it work? :confused:
